About the Author

Scott Young was born and raised in San Diego, California, and studied Film & Television at California State University, Northridge. He later worked in production and distribution for a variety of entertainment companies.

A writer since childhood, he made his first professional sale at nineteen, while in college, with a television script he co-wrote with a friend. He is also the creator of the acclaimed audio drama series Secrets of Harridge House (2020-2022), a gothic horror soap opera that ran for forty-six episodes over three seasons.

I Didn’t Know the Rules Until He Taught Me to Break Them is his first novel. He resides in Southern Arizona.
